Exteriors 3 Offroad Project

A 4 week project where we were required to make an offroad vehicle with a specific purpose. I played the sci-fi card and went for an offroader with a prone seating position based on something called the Pacu Jawi - a cow race in Sumatra. The original race is completely nuts - participants grab onto the tails of 2 cows and get pulled across a muddy rice field to see who can survive / get the best time. The brand for the job would have to be Rockstar, who are not unfamiliar to the world of extreme motorsports.

tldr; I tried to take the basic package from the actual setup with the "two cows in front pulling small man in back" and translate that into a vehicle. Check it out:

Design Process 2 Final: Surgical Van

For the Design Process 2 final, students had to redesign the NV2500 van with a specific purpose or function. I chose to do a surgical van with a sliding capsule for patients, which would enable loading from the side and allow the surgical team to start their operations without much delay. The inspiration was a water purifier - I tried to take inspiration not only from the form of the appliance, but also the function - the purifier has a sliding compartment that allows access to a purification filter.
